Junior Board

Thank you for your interest in the EarthShare New Jersey Junior Board. We are committed to fostering the next generation of environmental leaders and welcome applications from passionate individuals under 35. 

Our Mission: 

The EarthShare NJ Junior Board serves a vital role in raising awareness of our nonprofit partners and the critical environmental work they undertake. Our mission is to connect young professionals with a shared interest in environmental sustainability and empower them to contribute to a cleaner, greener future for New Jersey. 

Developmental Opportunities  

Personal and Professional Development opportunities including professional networking, environmental education, leadership skills, program development/management, relationship building, communication skills and more! 

Expectations: 

• There will be a virtual formal meeting every other month, with happy hours, dine & donates, or other activities throughout the year and state. Junior Board members do not have a pre-determined length of service. To be considered an active member, board members must attend at least 4 formal meetings a year and 2 fundraisers or happy hours. 

• The opportunity to serve in leadership positions within the Junior Board, such as Secretary, Communications Chair, Events Chair, Development Chair, Recruitment Chair, or Programming Chair. These roles require a commitment to working collaboratively with EarthShare NJ staff to achieve specific goals.
